Drive Fitness Test is one of those programs which have been around since the year dot (well, pretty much!) and are still one of the most useful tools you're likely to come across for diagnosing problems with Hard Disk Drives.
DFT is similar to the diagnostics packages provided by the major manufacturers with one important difference - it does NOT format the drive when it runs scans!
